Fall Redfish Bite Heating Up in Crystal River
Crystal River - Citrus, FL
Had Dave and Mike out on the water this weekend, and we found a few studs while beating the bushes! Most of our redfish came on live pinfish and cut mullet. There are tons of mullet schools moving around right now, which is always a good sign. Water temperatures are still a little warm at around 84 degrees, but the fish are there if you're willing to put in the work and find them. We also found a few trout out on the flats. We're just waiting for those water temperatures to drop a little more, and the trout should really start stacking up. Dark-colored jigs worked around broken bottom were getting the bites. Fall fishing is getting closer here on the Nature Coast, and things should continue to improve as that water cools down! đŁ Capt.
